All you need is a small screwdriver, or other tool, & "Muffler Mender" (Registered Product)

Petromax BriteLyt Parts

Use crescent wrench or Lantern Tool to loosen Part # 50 (see photo below)


 
 

Loosen part # 50 almost all the way out.  Use screwdriver to judge spacing.

(see photo below)

Apply "Muffler Mender" onto screwdriver or tool of your choice, and apply around threads of Part # 50. (see photo below)


 

 

Retighten Part # 50 and remove excess "Muffler Mender" with rag or napkin.

(see below photo) Works best if left to set for 24 hours.


 

 Can be used on (part #3). See below.

 

Below will be a GOOD START for optimum performance of Part #33 mixing tube.
