1. UNSCREW HOOD SCREWS AND REMOVE HOOD.( counterclockwise).    

2 REMOVE PLASTIC RINGS & PLASTIC WRAP above & below glass globe.

3. Attach the light bulb (40W-60W) securely (see photo below) and reinstall the glass globe,& hood back onto lantern frame.

4. NOTE:

MAKE SURE GREEN BUTTON (inside of hood) is ALIGNED WITH On/Off stem (see inside of glass globe for long metal rod). see photo below)

5. REPLACE HOOD & SCREW NUTS SECURELY (NOT TOO TIGHT)

 6. PLUG CORD (Female end) INTO TOP SIDE OF HOOD (SEE SLOT ON TOP SIDE OF HOOD)    (photo below)

 
6A.Make sure the plug is secure in the hood

 Plug the electric plug end into an outlet 110V

7. TURN KNOB TO 12:00 position (UP). This is on)
 

Light bulb should light.

IF the lamp does not light, then go back and adjust the tip of the long metal stem inside of lantern (rotate counterclockwise).

ADJUST TOP OF ROD IF NECESSARY TO INSURE CONTACT WITH GREEN BUTTON.

1. Must not plug in any power source with wet hand(s) !

2.  Must wear insulated footware,s,  when plugging in, out, and turning the lantern on and off.

3. Must keep your body or children from touching the lantern during in use.

4. This lantern must use power source of 110V.

5. When you need to repair the lantern it must be performed by qualified technician(s).

6. Do not remove any parts of the lantern or repair it with the lantern plug is plugged in to a power source.
